Growing up, sewing was always a part of Abby's life. Her mother, spent years creating beautiful handmade pieces and sharing her love of the craft. As a young Autistic adult, Abby found it challenging to find the right fit in traditional workplaces. She knew she had the dedication, creativity, and strong work ethic to succeed, but many jobs simply weren’t the right match, leading to frustration and obstacles along the way.

Through the skills and encouragement passed down from her mother, Abby discovered something different in sewing and soon became a source of confidence, creativity, and purpose. Sewing gave her the opportunity to express herself, build on her strengths, and create something meaningful and joyful with her own hands and so...combining those skills and with a lifelong love of dogs (she has 6), The Fur Barks was born.

Today, every bandana is carefully handcrafted from start to finish. Fabrics are thoughtfully selected, details are carefully sewn, and each piece is made with pride and attention to quality. No bandana passes through her workshop without the care and craftsmanship that handmade products deserve.

Dogs have always been her favorite companions. Their loyalty, acceptance, and unconditional love make them truly special. Creating beautiful accessories for them is more than a business, it’s a way to celebrate the animals that bring so much joy to our lives as well.
